Purpose:
The purpose of this task is to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to support the RCC-C
 
Responsibilities:
The Unified Capabilities (UC) Senior Subject Matter Expert provides the highest level expertise with Telephony, Video Teleconferencing and Collaboration systems specifically with expertise in Enterprise level O&M and implementation of Cisco Unified Communications (Call Manager), Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) and interfacing of these systems with legacy Public Switched Telephone Systems (PSTN) and PBX trunks.
  • Provide VOIP system administration support to CONUS Theater for Unified Communications (UC) systems, Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure VOIP technologies such as IP-PBX, IP telephony, VOIP handsets, call control managers, SBCs and EBCs. Configure call manager suites of equipment on NIPRNet and SIPRNet to communicate with call managers at the deployed unit locations and with call managers in all military theater of operations.

  • Provide support to integrate together both VoIP and IP VTC infrastructures routing and call bridging functions so VoIP and VTC systems call seamlessly with one another. Enterprise Instant Messaging (IM) and Collaborative Services over IP on NIPRNET and SIPRNET.
  • Prepare for the eventual installation of several real-time communication services such as Enterprise IM and collaborative services systems that do not currently exist at the Army Enterprise level.
  • Prepare to support Enterprise IM and Collaboration Tool systems later to be determined.
  • These systems may also be integrated with the existing Enterprise VoIP solutions for seamless call and communication routing.
 
 
Education:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
 
 
Certifications:
 
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Voice,
  • IAT Level II Baseline Certification
                                                                                          
Required Skills/Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum four (4) years demonstrated/practical hands-on experience working in a DoD enterprise Unified Capabilities environment.
