Purpose:
The purpose of this task is to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to support the RCC-C.
 
Responsibilities:
The ITIL Senior Subject Matter Expert is the focal point of interaction with the customer with respect to Service Delivery, Continual Improvement Processes and Service Transition strategy. They ensure that the entire team is focused correctly on Service Delivery while balancing priorities and tasks with respect to tech refresh and migration activities.
  • Develop and deliver pre-formatted and ad hoc reports, as tasked by the COR, and as supported by ITSM interface.
  • Maintain and update interfaces from the GNE tools to support the automatic generation of incidents based on fault conditions received from the tools.
  • Provide ITIL infrastructure subject matter expertise to develop, improve, integrate, measure, and report on operational processes throughout USARCC-C.
  • Apply best business practices to assess, develop, maintain, and update ITIL infrastructure documentation.
  • At a minimum, the documentation shall include goals, purpose, scope, logical and physical process flows, roles and responsibilities (RACI), key process activities and tasks, inputs, outputs, process measures, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide ITIL training and facilitate knowledge transfer among Contractor and Government personnel.
  • Provide a minimum of eight hours of formal introductory ITIL training to Contractor personnel (unless already ITIL certified) within 90 days of assignment to support this contract.
  • The instructor shall be certified in the most current version of ITIL Foundations and use a course syllabus approved by the COR responsible for ITIL.
  • Recommend vision, strategy, and goals for each process to the Government. Recommend, for Government approval, and track an objective measurement structure to evaluate the current state of each process.
  • Identify and recommend improvement actions.
  • Gather, process, and analyze the process data used to report information to the COR. Research, test, and evaluate new technology and insertion; document implementation and sustainment; and present results of the evaluation, which shall address cost and performance, to the USARCC-C service managers and management staff.
  • Complete 99 percent of Government requests by the established deadline and shall ensure 100 percent of backups are accomplished within the established timeframe
 
 
Required Certifications:
  • ITIL Expert Certification or higher
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
                                                                                          
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience having successfully led a ITIL implementation.
