The purpose of this task is to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to support the RCC-C
The Systems Administrator (DCO): performs daily tasks on Cyberspace operating systems specifically related to security, software deployments, perform IAVA updates, patching and basic STIG related activities. They also perform physical server maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance.
  • Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure 11 ArcSight Servers using the full capabilities of the ArcSight application (e.g., logging all security events and performing event analysis).
  • ArcSight aggregates approximately 13.6 million security events per day from multiple sources, which include Intrusion Protection System sensors, Snort, and Primary Internet Exchange (PIX) Firewall, proxy, router, HBSS and server system logs.
  • Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure the ArcSight Storage Area Network which stores approximately 90 days of security events.
  • This requirement is expected to increase to 12 months during the life of this contract.
  • Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure the robotic tape storage system that archives ArcSight events for 12 months.
  •  Defensive Cyberspace Operations Lab: Develop and maintain a test lab environment leveraging a commercially leased cable connection to provide internet connectivity so lab systems do not touch the NIPRNet.
  • The intent of the test lab is for malware analysis and Open Source Intelligence gathering on threats.

Required Certifications
  • IT II/ CND-IS ( SSCP or CEH)
  • IAT II  Security + CE or higher
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security or related discipline.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Four(4) years of Information technology (IT) experience
