The purpose of this task is to support the SYSMAN team, which provides enterprise services in a cutting edge Cyber environment.
The Systems Engineer (JRSS O&M):  
  • Operate, maintain, and defend appliances, servers and systems supporting DNS and SMTP services.
  • Develop scripts and utilities for routine task automation and connection to software Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
  • Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation, reporting, and patch management for systems managed by the SMT as directed by the COR.
  • Validate migration software configurations and connectivity through collaboration with DoD stakeholders and the service providers.
  •  Validate that security posture is equal to or better than the pre-migration state of operations.
  • Criteria for this validation will be provided by the JMT/SME teams.
  • Support the backup of existing services as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • CCNA, CCDA, CISSP, MCSE, MCITP Enterprise Administrator.
  • Sec+ CE or higher
  • HS +8 years’ experience, or AA/AS +4, or BS/BA +2
