Purpose:
The purpose of this task is to provide Information Technology (IT) support for computer systems and security for all Army Information Systems, located in the office and classroom spaces provided for the JFO course functions. IT systems shall be fully functional while classes are in session.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage the installation and tear-down of resident and MTT IT equipment required for students attending all JFO Courses.
  • Develop back-up procedures for recovery from loss or destruction of data and program files or from physical damage to the installation.
  • Shall perform analytical, evaluation, and maintenance duties in support of LAN administration and LAN system components to include servers, desktop/laptop workstation configuration, PC, software, and peripherals that support the operations of the JFO facilities.  Shall be proficient in Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8, Windows Server 2003 and 2008 and associated JFO simulator hardware and software.
  • Shall provide a report on IT activity and plans monthly.
  • Perform website maintenance and knowledge management for the JFO Course. Website maintenance includes the SIPR and NIPR versions.
 
Education and Certifications:
  • CompTIA Security+ certification, one Computer Environment (CE)
  • MCITP- Windows 7 configuration test certification
  • CompTIA A+ certification
 
 
Knowledge and Experience:
  • 2 years’ experience in similar field.
