Description:
This position is a key position leading a team on a major program supporting aerostat systems both CONUS and OCONUS and shall provide systems engineering expertise to support PD Aerostats, including providing guidance on technical processes, input to systems engineering management plans, and ensuring compliance with DoD systems engineering requirements. This position shall support requirements/capabilities gap analysis including providing input to user capability needs IAW the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process [e.g., systems’ capabilities production document (CPD) and translation of user capability needs into performance requirements for PD Aerostats systems]. This position shall provide technical which provide input to PD Aerostats systems’ concept, design, and architecture; potential technologies to support user requirements; and technology alternatives/strategies and trade-offs.

Required Qualifications:
 
  • Possess a TS clearance with the ability obtain SCI.
  • Five (5) years of experience performing system engineering.
  • Knowledge of DoD system engineering processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance on system upgrades.
  • Analyze system concept, design and interoperability.
  • Design, document, and analyze communications components.
  • Manage complex projects while working effectively with management, technical personnel, and all project stakeholders.
 
Desired Qualifications:
 
  • 10 years of experience performing system engineering and in design and evaluation of system maintenance and reliability improvements.
