There are full time and part-time and weekend positions available.
 
Purpose:
 
Dial Assistance Functions consists of operator assistance for local exchange and access services including line verification barge-in, call extension and assistance with other exchange access functions.  Operator support shall be provided for all Army Reserve and National Guard activities during summer training and all active sessions.  The responsibility for operator assistance does include Post Locator functions.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Operates a switchboard or attendant console telephone station. Receives calls for staff and/or residents, conveys information, takes messages, and keeps logs of calls taken or placed. Information conveyed is typically of a general nature with no extensive interpretation of rules, regulations, or policies. Answer Incoming Calls for operator assistance and directory assistance
  • Required to set-up on-post/off-post conference and morale calls.
  • Be able to support the NEC on a 24/7/365 basis.
