Job Title: Marketing and Graphics Developer Specialist Job Location: Remote Salary: Competitive, Depends on Qualifications Clearance: N/A Travel: Not Anticipated Purpose: The purpose of this requirement is to provide contract support to federally managed programs and provide strategic communications support services to ITSO and the judiciary. This work includes facilitating ITSO reporting; developing presentations, newsletter articles, and other publications on security-related topics; editing best practice and risk analysis documentation; responding to queries addressed to the ITSO mailbox from court units and national program offices; developing graphics for presentations, web deliverables, and other marketing content; developing and maintaining the ITSO SharePoint Online presence; and establishing and maintaining guidelines and templates for consistent and appropriate communication methods and deliverables.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Performs task of creating visual concepts, by hand or using computer applications, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate an audience.
Develop, layout and produce advertisements for magazines, pamphlets, etc.
Conduct usability testing including testing live sites, apps, prototypes.
Create high quality marketing materials including postcards, quarterly reports, flyers and other custom marketing pieces
Create and disseminate email marketing campaigns using various mass email programs
Assist in the creation, proofing and editing of marketing proposals and packages
Build team brand awareness
Create invitations and marketing for events
Assist with various operational and administrative tasks as requested
Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
Job Specific Knowledge/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphical Design
7 years of experience developing graphics for both communications/marketing deliverables as well as technical communications including describing technically complex materials to technical and non-technical audiences, both visually and with written word, using graphics software packages such as components of Adobe Creative Cloud, Office365, and HTML.
Existing knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong working knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is a must.
Social media marketing experience helpful
Ability to communicate extremely well both written and verbally
Excellent writing and editing skills, i.e., spelling, grammar punctuation, etc.
Strong work ethic, verbally articulate and detail-oriented, with a support the team attitude
Possess a desire to learn new concepts and master new software applications
