Purpose
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking an Intelligence Analysts to provide specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support. The Intelligence Analysts accesses and performs research on designated automated databases for identifying information of interest to the customer, downloading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) to be specified by the customer. The Intelligence Analysts provide intelligence and threat analysis of the information that is tailored to the needs of DBLEU, SDP, and NGU based on access to NSI, Law Enforcement databases, and commercial databases. The Intelligence Analysts analyze information; create, format, and assemble spreadsheets, draw charts, and graphs; evaluate, interpret and compare data; develop documents, summaries, reports, and presentations using a variety of computer software programs (including but not limited to Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word). The Intelligence Analysts present oral briefings and written reports to government program managers. The Intelligence Analysts write reports based on analysis of ongoing law enforcement trends and activities, including arrests, deportations, fines, penalties, and forfeitures. 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve in a support role and be responsible for receiving, inputting, and evaluating data.
  • Utilize DHS databases to run queries, prepare reports, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and conduct research.
  • Utilize databases and open-source documents to identify violators.
  • Prepare reports documenting leads and submit them to the field through official channels.
  • Review classifications of arrestees for accuracy and track the statistics of arrestees.
  • Prepare training aids as directed for the field and assist in the training sessions as needed. The training aids will cover all aspects of HSI investigations including guiding agents in the presentation of cases to the U.S.
  • Attorney's Office, trial preparation, evidence handling, and case conclusion.
  • Participate and assist in preparing round tables, meeting with large and small audiences (audiences may involve personnel who do not embrace or support the enforcement of immigration laws.)
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations, organizing data for presentations and other similar duties.
  • Assist as needed in the conduct of I-9 audits and prepare reports documenting the results as instructed.
  • Maintain a database and shall track all statistics to include forfeitures, seizures, arrests, and convictions.
  • Track controlled deliveries, cold convoys, pass through operations, and other statistical data from various gang initiatives as requested.
  • Maintain a tracking tool for all DBLEU and/or SDP statistics.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • TOP SECRET Classified NSI access based on Tier 5 (National Security Position) investigative standards. Vetting at the Tier 5 level meets requirement for access to Law Enforcement Data Base information
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in intelligence and threat analysis with DOD or any federal or state government agency and law enforcement agency.
  • Include processing/evaluating intelligence information and identifying/recommending solutions to a wide range of analytical problems; analyzing intelligence data from a variety of sources to develop trends/patterns/profiles/estimates/studies; preparing preliminary/finished intelligence products and disseminating the products to the appropriate officials; participating in liaison activities; and ensuring that intelligence data is properly classified/stored/handled in accordance with pertinent directives.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, i.e., spelling, grammar punctuation, etc.
  • Strong work ethic, verbally articulate and detail-oriented, with a support the team attitude
  • Possess a desire to learn new concepts and master new software applications
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to assess situations, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Strong organization and self-management skills, willing to take initiative and follow through
