Scope:
This position will contribute to the accomplishment of the Human Resource Department by assisting with employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, HR projects, talent acquisition, and other administrative tasks as needed to support the organization. This individual is responsible for assisting the HR Department to ensure the HR functions are carried out appropriately and timely.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: |
- Assists in the maintenance of benefit programs to include but not limited to health insurance, ancillary programs, and liability insurance.
- Ensure compliance with the Service Contract Act (SCA) changes for all qualified employees.
- Initiate and track all Payroll Action Forms to ensure timely completion and accuracy of changes.
- Verify HR related documents at the completion of onboarding.
- Track and communicate appropriately to management for all leave of absence and ensuring that state mandated programs are being administered correctly.
- Maintain HRIS systems with changes and updates.
- Act as first line of communication with all employees.
- Update all HR documents as instructed.
- Participates in various HR projects as directed.
- Assist with other aspects of Human Resources as needed.

Required qualifications: |
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Human Resources Generalist.
- Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to research answers to assigned tasks when unknown.
- Ability to analyze information with attention to detail skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Internet/search engines and ATS.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree desired but not required.
