Travel: Up to 50% CONUS and OCONUS
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to provide information technology support on a project for a federal government customer. The customer has a network utilizing virtual desktop infrastructure, using a Windows-based operating system and requires support to transition other workstations from traditional client-server to virtual desktop as well as implementation and maintenance of public key infrastructure authentication solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure all customer information systems meet DoDI 8500.01 Cybersecurity requirements
  • Provide Information System Security Officer support for all assigned systems
  • Support all activities associated with Risk Management Framework, including registration and maintenance of systems in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system
  • Provide Host-Based Security System client management
  • Provide security vulnerability scanning and reporting using government provided applications
  • Provide for distribution and installation of security patches
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 years’ experience conducting similar work
  • 5 years’ experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework (DoDI 8510.01)
  • 5 years’ experience with DoD Information Assurance tools, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS), and the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
  • 5 years’ experience implementing DoD Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Security Readiness Review (SRR) scripts
  • 3 years’ experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and Xacta RMF tools
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology related field – OR – 6 years’ experience
Required Certifications
  • IAM Level I (CAP, GSLC, or Security+ CE)
