Purpose The requiring agency is Naval Special Warfare Group TWO (NSWG2), headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. To support growing Special Security Officer (SSO) and Command Security Manager (CSM) command requirements, it is necessary for NSWG-2 to contract for additional manpower Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Function as the primary customer service point of contact during normal business hours; redirect inquiries to the CSM/SSO as necessary or applicable
Support CSM/SSO personnel security actions to include initiating and reviewing requests for investigation (SF86’s) via the Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing (e-QIP)
Conduct clearance eligibility and access verifications in support of SOCOM account requests, personnel security clearance letter requests and courier cards
Serves as the primary POC for badge issuance to include Defense Information System for Security (DISS) verifications and updates as well as processing security badge forms for the HQ and subordinate commands.
Prepare, issue, and record the issuance, destruction, and receipt of courier cards in the courier card Excel spreadsheet tracker
Assist the CSM/SSO with collecting and transmitting electronic fingerprints in the Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) system
Process incoming and outgoing DISS visit requests and update the command visitor tracker daily
4.2.1.1.8 Assist and prepare Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination paperwork in support of NSWG-2 SSO approved group indoctrinations
4.2.1.1.9 Maintain the personnel security information spreadsheet with the gain and loss of command personnel within the headquarters and subordinate commands
4.2.1.1.10 Supports SSO with random entry/exit inspections as needed
4.2.1.1.11 Assist the CSM/SSO with maintaining the Lenel access control system to incorporate new command security badges issued as well as modifications to existing security badges.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of six years physical, personnel and special security experience with DoD or equivalent Government agencies required with NSW operational level experience preferred
Experience with the application of policy, regulations and directives for DoD and DON Personnel Security, Information Security, Physical Security and Industrial Security
Experience with Microsoft Office products to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams as well as Adobe Acrobat products
Experience working in a controlled facility is (preferred)
Active Top Secret clearance
