Travel: Up to 50% CONUS and OCONUS
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide information technology support on a project for a federal government customer. The customer has a network utilizing virtual desktop infrastructure, using a Windows-based operating system and requires support to transition other workstations from traditional client-server to virtual desktop as well as implementation and maintenance of public key infrastructure authentication solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide operational and maintenance (O&M) support for multiple networks, classified and unclassified
  • Provide O&M support for printer infrastructure, including Pharos Secure Print
  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure
  • Provide O&M support for SQL Database, server, and desktop-based software applications
  • Provide data backup and restoration capabilities across multiple networks, supporting network file-sharing between geographically distant facilities
  • Provide support for storage area network and encrypted file storage capabilities
  • Create and maintain workstation images IAW DoD security standards, providing systems recovery and repair operations
Minimum Requirements:
  • 7 years’ experience with Microsoft Systems Administration in an enterprise environment, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic Scripting
  • 4 years’ experience leading a task with over a dozen employees in the IT field
  • 4 years’ experience with:
    • Security configuration of Windows Server/Windows 10
    • Computer Network Defense
    • Microsoft SCCM (or similar)
    • Vormetric data encryption solutions
    • Ethernet networking technologies
    • Maintaining PKI
    • Implementing and managing VDI
    • Server Utilization
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology related field – OR – 10 years’ experience
Required Certifications
  • IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
  • VCP (VMWare Certified Professional)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Core Infrastructure
