Purpose: 
Provide training, operational and analytical support services for the JID through the JTO Interface Training Program.
 
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
  • Conduct and complete a Front End Analysis (FEA) of emerging mission area systems
  • Provide proposed courses of action necessary for implementing emerging technologies and mission threads into existing curricula or through the addition of advanced courses of instruction or through use of online delivery methods. 
  • Participate in live or virtual working groups in order to gather analysis data on emerging/enhanced systems which are programmed or planned to participate on the Multi-TDL Network and/or JDN. 
  • Conduct liaison functions with service network design facilities (NDF) in order to grasp new design techniques and conventions.
  • Observe test and evaluation exercises of and for emerging capabilities
  • Collaborate with various program offices to understand how a new platform or capability will interface with the MTN/JDN and what specific Information Exchange Requirements (IER) are needed. 
  • Make reasonable conclusions and present this information to the JID Director via the COR in the form of a Trip Repot, White Paper, or Bullet Background Paper (as directed) about data collected from attending various working groups, interfacing with NDF's, observations made during T&E events, and from collaborating with various system program offices. 
  • Produce comprehensive reports regarding the data collected, conclusions made and specific recommendations for JID leadership.
  • Function as a MTN SME. 
  • Perform OPTASK LINK analysis to determine the impact new capabilities and systems will have on this foundation message and the JICO/JDN planning process.
  • Schedule and conduct quarterly interim progress reviews (IPR) with JID program management, ISD, branch chief(s), and JID leadership in order to present data, update status, make recommendations, and receive guidance.
  • Review existing blocks of instruction of the JTO Interface Training Program and JDN Training Program and make logical recommendations for where new capabilities and emerging missions/technologies may be inserted.
  • Maintain a repository that includes the ongoing development of working, in-progress, or developing emerging mission topics.
  • Provide the Government the necessary decision tools to determine if, where, when, what scope and how best to implement different emerging mission topics into the JICO training pipeline including pre and post graduates.  Using Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (A.D.D.I.E.) Instructional Systems Design (ISD) method, guidance, and terminology, the final products will be what is considered to be from the “Analysis” through the “Implementation” phases.
  • Provide Quarterly Progress Reports, beginning with the initial Task Order award and per Task Order award thereafter, and Decision Briefings.
  • Perform OPTASK LINK analysis to determine the impact new capabilities and systems will have on this foundation message and the JICO/JDN planning process.
  • Review existing blocks of instruction of the JTO Interface Training Program and JDN Training Program and make logical recommendations for where new capabilities and emerging missions/technologies may be inserted. 
  • Establish liaison with related Service Battle Laboratories, Service test programs, special staff agencies (e.g., Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Joint Interoperability Engineering Organization (JIEO), Joint Training, Analysis, and Simulations Center (JTASC), and Advanced
  • Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) to ensure maximum exploitation of information to support enhancements to the JID and joint training.
  • Maintain a repository that includes the ongoing development of working, in-progress, or developing emerging mission topics. 
 
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in improving training materials, research, development, and presenting recommendations to customers.
  • 8-10 years of experience with any TDL equipment and/or operations, JICC Operations, RICO operations, service specific interface control cell billets requiring a JICO or AJOC certification. 
  • Had experience using A.D.D.I.E. Instructional Systems Design methods, guidance, and terminology.
  • A Bachelor’s degree. 
  • A minimum of one year of experience in simulations development or live virtual construct (LVC) development and execution which required tactical data link integration.
  • Secret Clearance (Top Secret Eligible).
