Purpose: The purpose of this contract is to provide subject matter expertise through program management, engineering, technical, logistics and knowledge-based services in support of NSW’s Dry Combat Submersible (DCS) units, Dry Deck Shelters (DDS), Seal Delivery Vehicles (SDV), Shallow Water Combat Submersible (SWCS) and other support equipment to ensure assets are mission ready.
*****THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARDING OF A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT*****
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Assist in establishment and maintenance of all logistician processes for the DCS/DDS programs.
Assist in the set up and development of the logistician processes required to support applicable programs.
Compile logistical support information.
Provide reports containing repair parts data.
Validate parts to identify deficiencies and to enable sustainability of procurement systems.
Conduct analysis of technical and logistics data and create relevant reports, briefings, and documents.
Support regularly scheduled work and tasks as well as urgent short notice tasks and events.
Manage parts and materials inventories.
Prepare and receive parts and materials shipments.
Requirements and Education:
SECRET Security Clearance.
Minimum five (5) years of COLTS, DPAS or other Government Support inventory system experience.
Desired U.S. Navy submarines or submersible platforms experience.
