Purpose:  The purpose of this requirement is to provide contract support to federally managed programs and provide strategic communications support services to ITSO and the judiciary. This work includes facilitating ITSO reporting; developing presentations, newsletter articles, and other publications on security-related topics; editing best practice and risk analysis documentation; responding to queries addressed to the ITSO mailbox from court units and national program offices; developing graphics for presentations, web deliverables, and other marketing content; developing and maintaining the ITSO SharePoint Online presence; and establishing and maintaining guidelines and templates for consistent and appropriate communication methods and deliverables.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
 
  • Provide program management oversight. Perform the program management activities assuring that projects are managed according to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Agile methodologies and Judiciary policies and practices.
  • Provide program management support to accomplish the administrative, managerial, and logistical aspects of the contract.
  • Monitor performance and provide timely assessments of progress, risks, issues, and proposed resolutions.
  • Provide overall technical leadership and oversight and report on progress, changes, and issues in monthly Program Status Reports (PSR)

Job Specific Knowledge/Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or technology, or related discipline.
  • 10 years of experience as Project Manager for IT Security policy and/or communications operations.
  • 3 years of experience managing an Agile web operation.
  • 8 years of experience identifying resource needs and assignment of individual responsibilities.
  • 8 years of experience managing project resources and planning.
