The Project Manager provides services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will support the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to employ specified NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). You will support NETCOM in the management, planning, scheduling, and controlling of enterprise system builds, updates and patching of Army Enterprise programs at various life cycle stages. We are looking to hire a full-time Release Manager to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Responsibilities: Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks.
Support the release management process that entails the management, planning, scheduling, and controlling of an entire system build through every stage and environment involved, including testing, deploying, updating and patching hardware or software releases.
Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks.
Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
Documents gap analysis, staging, installation, testing within the established schedule, operational and costing parameters in support of the assigned capability.
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
Assists the project manager in synchronizing release and patching requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project and identifying any issues.
Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
Manages the release operations of the capability
Supports documentation, briefings, and project plans necessary to support NETCOM.
Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required
Qualifications/Certifications
BA/BS or equivalent experience
8570 certification: IAM Level I Certification
Computing Environment Certification: as needed
Clearance: Secret
5-8 years of experience in information technology field is beneficial, but not required.
