Travel:                        Up to 15% CONUS
 
Purpose:
A SharePoint Administrator/Developer for XVIII Airborne Corps will have the required skills to
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical Analysis of Requirements, recommend solutions, estimate project timelines and levels of effort
  • Work as part of a development team identifying solutions to provided requirements and working closely with a Site Collection Administrator and their assigned customer to ensure the proper solution for the provided requirements. 
  • Perform requirements gathering, design, installation, configuration, integration, maintenance, performance management, data management, security management, troubleshooting, failure analysis and recovery, and user support.
  • Experience with C#, VB.NET or other .Net Languages as well as with jQuery, XML, CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
  • Perform SharePoint Web Part Design and implementation
  • Provide expert analysis and resolutions for Service Requests via phone, or email
  • Diagnose SharePoint application and connection issues
  • Provide customer support for SharePoint collection/site features, site permissions, group permissions, and custom permissions
  • Provide support for SharePoint list, libraries, content types, forms, web parts, and workflows
  • Provide customer support for SharePoint Designer and InfoPath
  • Provide customer support to include master pages, layouts, templates using CSS/HTML/XML
  • Be the TIER II point of contact for all SharePoint related technology questions and provide remediation assistance
  • Assist with migration from SharePoint 2013 and O365
  • Contribute resolutions for undocumented SharePoint issues
  • Contribute How to and Solution documents for SharePoint features and services
  • Ensure classified, unclassified and/or approved public facing websites, portals, online communities, web-based collaboration platforms, and other DOD/DA authorized web-based explicit knowledge sources (e.g. AKO, MilSuite, Defense Collaboration Services, Wordpress) are continuously operational, reviewed/tested/facilitated daily, fixes/minor adjustments are completed
  • Ensure Microsoft SharePoint and SMS capabilities, and the byproducts thereof, are operational continuously, monitored/tested daily, fixes/minor adjustments are completed
  • Apply, maintain and update KM training, education and professional development materials and related products on a monthly basis, and provide performance support provided to users, staff, and organizations
 
Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • Certification in web development, SharePoint of Solutions Development highly desired
  • CompTIA Security+
 
Knowledge and Experience:
  • 2 years’ experience in Computer Programming Experience including code writing, development of custom software/web based solutions and utilization of software development methodologies to perform and develop assigned projects. 
  • At least 4 years IT related experience in overall programming and coding experience developing Web Based Applications.
  • Experience with integration of solutions into a SharePoint-based environment and the ability to customize SharePoint Out of the box features and web parts.
  • Experience with customer Requirements gathering and working as part of a development team on software development projects.
  • Hands-on Code development using an Integrated Development Environment tool (preferably Microsoft Visual Studio)
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, ShareVis, or InfoPath
