Purpose People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Lead Configuration Manager to provide support services to all VBA personnel to include students, Regional Office Training Managers, Business Lines training staff, and the VA Central Office Staff Offices accessing VBA’s training systems. *****THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWRD*****
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Continually monitor, collect data, conduct analysis, and apply expertise to recommend procedural and technological revisions
Support adherence to VA, Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014 (FISMA) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements, policies, and laws
Ensure continuity of operations for VBA workforce
Maintaining and managing secure external servers capable of hosting multiple applications and training for the VBA workforce.
Maintain and Modify web-services/APIs
Support maintaining current Authority to Operate (ATO) in accordance with VBA, FISMA, and NIST requirements
Support staff shall be available during normal VBA business days and hours, to include continental United States west coast and east coast offices/time zones.
Develop documentation for the Government to provide information and record for daily operation and maintenance of the Enterprise Training Infrastructure Systems and Applications
Minimum Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Master’s Degree in related field and 2 years of related experience or bachelor’s degree in related field and 4 years related experience
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate efficiently and effectively
Candidates must be able to work well with clients and team members of all levels not required
Coordinate with various internal and/or external leaders to develop creative solutions, while adhering to project deadlines and budgets
Enjoys and works well collaborating with other designers and developers to achieve solid and well thought out web-based experiences
