Purpose
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer SME to provide simple security and application updates on a recurring, streamlined timeline to Marines Corps Intelligence System Programs of Record (PORs) at Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic). This would include integration, functional and operational testing, quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC), cybersecurity, configuration management (CM), and technical writing of scalable, secure, interoperable, sustainable, and survivable Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), Information Operations (IO), and Enterprise Information Services (EIS) capabilities.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provides assistance to design, program and execute test plans.
  • Implements, documents, and maintains routine computing applications and software.
  • Assists in gathering and evaluating end user requirements.
  • Writes and compiles routine code and constructs routine database objects based on documented design.
  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.
  • Documents, validates and researches reported problems and assists in developing user training.

Required Education/Certifications:
  • Technical Training in Software Engineering, Computer Science, and/or System Administration.

Minimum Required Experience:
  • Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with Navy and Marine Corps programs, to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in software development lifecycle activities..
