Purpose:  The purpose of this task is to provide training infrastructure, design, development, delivery and program support to VBA’s Training Management & Performance Improvement (TMPI) division.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
 
  • Provide administrative and facilitation support, as well as providing meeting materials.
  • provide a detailed Project Management Plan (PMP) and briefing for the VBA project team
  • Create monthly formal progress reports and briefing throughout the project’s duration
  • These reports should identify:
    • Information pertaining to Cost, Schedule, Performance, Burn Rate Charts, and information required for monitoring of performance by CLIN and by Project;
    • Problems that arose and a statement explaining how the problem was resolved;
    • Problems that have arisen but have not been completely resolved with an explanation;
    • Documentation recording change impact statements, which could apply to any programmatic component;
    • Compilation of deliverables for reporting period and period of performance
  • Provide support services to all VBA personnel to include students, Regional Office Training Managers, Business Lines training staff, and the VA Central Office Staff Offices accessing VBA’s training systems

Knowledge and Experience:
 
  • Master’s Degree in related field and 6 years of related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 8 years related experience
  • Project Management Certification or equivalent required
