Purpose:
The purpose of this contract is to provide subject matter expertise through
program management, engineering, technical, logistics and knowledge-based services in support of Dry Combat Submersible (DCS) units, Dry Deck Shelters (DDS), Seal Delivery Vehicles (SDV), Shallow Water Combat Submersible (SWCS) and other support equipment to ensure assets are mission ready.
 
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

 
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining all administrative processes for the  IMD Contracts Shop.
  • Assist with the set up and development of the administrative processes required to support applicable programs.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars.
  • Assist with communications such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Assist with market research and provide market research reports to the  IMD Contracts Manager as required. Write and edit documents from letters to reports and training documents.
  • Communicate with contractors and vendors to obtain status of service and material requests and procurements and track status via tracking tools and spreadsheets.
  • Manage regularly scheduled work and tasks as well as support urgent short notice tasks and events.
  • Telework as authorized by the OIC and/or Deputy Director.
 
Requirements and Education:

 
  • HS Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years related experience or BA/BS and two (2) year related experience.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience working in a state or federal government administrative role.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in using Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.  
  • Be able to obtain a Secret level Clearance within eighteen (18) months of hire.
