Purpose
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Senior Organization Change Manager (SOCM) to provide program oversight coordination, documentation generation, logistical support, for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). The SOCM will leverage organizational change management (OCM), knowledge management (KM), and mission analytics to enable capabilities within the transition from manual processes to those balanced with appropriate human-machine teaming and OCM processes to increase adoption, utilization, and proficiency of new/improved processes, tools, and job roles.

*****THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWRD*****

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Use commercial and public best practice tools and techniques to mature OCM capabilities within USTRANSCOM and provide OCM support services required (i.e., expertise, tools & methodologies) to enable the command and directorates to successfully integrate change management processes into projects and initiatives to ensure focus on the people side of change.
  • Provide recommendations and commensurate support to senior leaders appropriate for general officer/flag officer and equivalent.
  • Support a consistent approach to managing change to include resistance management, risk mitigation, adoption of new processes/tools, and help facilitate change in mind-sets, behaviors, and skill levels required to achieve organizational goals and priorities and help the command maintain OCM competency and capability.
  • Conduct an initial assessment to document the command’s baseline OCM maturity
  • Develop recommendations focused on improving the command’s OCM maturity
  • Developing change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives.
  • Evaluating the impact of planned organizational change.
  • Identifying risks and developing risk mitigation tactics.
  • Identifying and managing anticipated resistance to change.
  • Leading change management work streams with a structured methodology / process.
  • Supporting development of communications relevant to change initiatives.
  • Providing coaching and training to employees at all levels.
  • Defining success metrics and measuring performance against these.
  • Providing reporting and other updates to management and project teams.

Required Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Possess an industry recognized Change Management certification
    • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
    • Prosci Change Management Certification
    • ATD Certification in Change Management
    • Change Management Institute Certification
    • Change Management Specialist Certification
    • ITIL Mastering Change Management Certification.

Minimum Required Experience:
  • Proven expertise in leading development of Organizational Change Management (OCM) programs for large complex organizations
  • Proven skills in facilitating senior level stakeholder engagements
  • Proven skills in the development of change management plans
  • Experience in developing and reporting on OCM specific metrics
  • Experience leading development of large OCM programs within commercial, DOD and other government organizations
