Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Produce graphics such as illustrations, art renderings, cartooning, and logo design for
print and electronic publication.
Provide and create original art, design, development, and associated graphics support for a variety of products to include but not limited to, posters, charts, graphs, diagrams, maps, brochures, newsletters, badges, certificates, labels, name plates, tent cards, placards, and signage.
Oversee and support the design and development of complex graphics and illustrations for use in technical materials, reports, manuals, and publications. Artwork may include, but is not limited to, tables, logos, charts, PowerPoint presentations, flowcharts, brochures, forms, illustrations, photographs, promotional materials, posters, and postcards.
Develop optimized graphics and interactive media for web pages and social media platforms.
Provide digital photography support to include editing and technical correction for official personnel photos and documentation of OIG activities and events. Photographic material may be presented in magazines, books, newspapers, a computer monitor, a touch screen tablet, Web site, CD-ROM, or other visual media platforms.
Manage graphic and photographic projects from conception to completion.
Job Specific Knowledge/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX, or a related field
5 years of experience in graphic design, visual design, and art direction for digital platforms
Experience in illustration, iconography design, animation and/or motion graphics desirable
3-5 years’ experience in communications
5 years of experience in visual content creation and digital marketing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
Background in photography with at least hobbyist level skills required
1-2 years photography experience preferred
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
