Job Title: Logistics Technician

Salary: $35.24/hr. plus up to $4.41/hr.

Purpose
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Logistics Technician to assist in life cycle management to include, conducting inventories, personal gear issue, return of gear, and local disposal of initial issue personal gear, sustainment gear, and Operational Consumables (OPCON) issues in DPAS. Specific support is to be conducted at Coronado, CA (CEN/BTC) to maintain Supply Operations and separation of functions as required by Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) audits.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:         
 
  • Assist in breakouts of OPCON and processing of General Service Requests.
  • Assist with issuing initial personnel gear and sustainment of gear.
  • Assist with processing incoming material after receipt by government personnel, with daily reconciliation of material issue in DPAS.
  • Assist in Warehouse management involving stowage, inventories, organization, and verifications.
  • Assist in daily use and updating of inventory databases via DPAS.
  • Assist with researching status of incoming material.

Required Education/Certifications:
 
  • Be able to drive Government-owned trucks, forklifts, and vans. No CDL license is required.
  • Have and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
  • Be able to operate Government provided Personal Computers (PC) with common/standard business software programs. Be proficient in Microsoft Office application, to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license.


Minimum Required Experience:
  • Possess two (2) years’ experience using DPAS, handling personal gear issues, inventory management procedures, and customer service in a military or DoD setting.
  • Possess two (2) years’ experience using SSAVIE, handling gear issue/return and inventory management.
