Logistics Technician

Salary: $35.24/hr. plus up to $4.41/hr.

Purpose
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Logistics Technician to assist in life cycle management to include the submission of instructor/student requisitions, issuing, return, inventory, and local disposal of all Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements (SPEAR) gear issued to trainees, Center Support Staff, SWCCs, and SEALs.  Specific support is to be conducted at Coronado, CA (CEN/BTC) to maintain Supply Operations and separation of functions as required by Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) audits.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:         
 
  • Assist in Special Operations Forces SSAVIE Management.
  • Assist in Customer Service/Material & SPEAR gear issue and return.
  • Assist with processing incoming material after receipt by government personnel, stowage, inventories, and daily reconciliation of material tracked in SSAVIE.
  • Assist with Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) processing.
  • Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operation (license to operate a forklift is required).

Required Education/Certifications:
 
  • Be able to drive Government-owned trucks, forklifts, and vans. No CDL license is required.
  • Have and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
  • Be able to operate Government provided Personal Computers (PC) with common/standard business software programs. Be proficient in Microsoft Office application, to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license.


Minimum Required Experience:
 
  • Possess two (2) years’ experience using DPAS, handling personal gear issues, inventory management procedures, and customer service in a military or DoD setting.
  • Possess two (2) years’ experience using SSAVIE, handling gear issue/return and inventory management.
