Purpose: Support USARCENT G2 by aiding in the coordination, planning, and execution of intelligence collection operations, exploitation, dissemination, and analytic support in coordination with other entities and agencies in USARCENT from a stateside location regarding the USCENTCOM AOR.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide planning support and regional threat/intelligence reports, which detail the results of research conducted and the analysis performed, along with recommendations for countermeasures to reduce risks associated with any potential and identified threats.
Assist in maintaining situational awareness of Partner Nation Intelligence capabilities and initiatives in order to facilitate productive and mutually beneficial Military Intelligence to Military Intelligence engagements and build enduring partnerships.
Provide administration support to the US Army Central (USARCENT) Force Management Analyst to identify, refine, track, and submit manning and equipping capabilities for theater-level Army requirements.
Develop and prepare PowerPoint presentations, information papers, trend analysis, written assessments, research, and analytical notes/summary, and or published analytical reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Social Science or a Bachelor’s Degree plus five (5) years working in a Social Sciences field related to Intelligence Analysis.
Six (6) years of analytical experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Federal Government agencies (DHS, DOJ, DOS).
DoD specialties or Federal Government Agency equivalents of the following military occupation specialties: Army - 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A; USMC – 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence /Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist; U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist; and USAF –1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analysts.
Two (2) years of experience working with Requirements Collection Management.
Two (2) years of deployed experience in at least one location within the USCENTCOM AOR within the last fifteen (15) years.
Two (2) years’ experience operating as a member of a headquarters analytical team member.
Proficient in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint or other KM tools.
