Purpose: The objective of this requirement is to establish a contract for part-time equivalent (PTE) and full-time equivalent (FTE) JTAC personnel support to provide programmatic training, program management, curriculum development support, as well as, academic instruction, to include practical field exercises that result in operators that are qualified and certified to conduct SOF JTAC operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operate handheld Link-16 equipment.
  • Operate tactical JTAC radios.
  • Operate JTAC targeting equipment

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Secret Security Clearance is required for this position,
  • Contractor shall be a graduate from the USAF Weapons School, USN TOPGUN, MAWTS-1, or equivalent training.
  • Contractor shall have Pilot/Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) experience with no less than 500 hours performing CAS missions and task with the last five (5) years in a tactical aircraft, to include attack helicopters, United States Air Force (USAF), United States Marine Corps (USMC), or United States Navy (USN).
  • Contractor shall be a Pilot/WSO/Sensor Operator SME in 3-09.3 Joint Tactics Techniques and Procedures for Close Air Support and the J-Fire Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques and Procedures for the Joint Application of Firepower.
  • Contractor shall have experience with post-9/11 combat CAS operations or FAC-A qualified.
  • Contractor shall be familiar with CAS operations and TTPs applicable to Major Combat Operations and the Strategic Competition context, to include equipment required for tactical communications in denied environments.
  • Contractor shall have prior programmatic experience managing or tracking JTAC qualifications, or SOF inspection experience.
  • Contractor shall have prior experience with AJACTS records management.
  • Confirmation of Certifications and Licensing of Contractor Employees
  • Documentation providing proof of licensing/certification is required are to be provided to the COR within 10 days when requested.
