Network and Computer Systems Administrator
Tampa, FLJob Title: Network and Computer Systems Administrators (BLS SOC No. 15-1244)
Job Location: Tampa, FL, Patuxent River, MD (Primary), and Cherry Point, NC (Secondary)
Salary: Competitive, Depends on Qualifications
Clearance: DoD SECRET
Travel: Approximately 25 percent of work will be performed at Government site at Patuxent River, MD (Primary) & Cherry Point, NC (Secondary) and 75 percent of work to be performed at Contractor site.
Purpose: The purpose of this task is to provide proposed DoD-IT customer Monthly Financial & Status Reporting, IT Requirements Analysis & Management, Risk Analysis & Management, IT Systems Engineering, IT Design & Development, Test & Evaluation, Quality Control, Data Analysis, Information/ Cybersecurity Support, IT Training, Configuration Management, and IT Operations & Maintenance.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
- Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
- Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
- Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
- Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
- May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Field Related Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from an “accredited college or university”.
- Active SECRET clearance
- Ten (10) years’ experience within IT Environment able to demonstrate requisite levels knowledge in IT Requirements Analysis & Management, Risk Analysis & Management, IT Systems Engineering, IT Design & Development, Test & Evaluation, Quality Control, Data Analysis, Information/ Cybersecurity Support, IT Training, Configuration Management, and IT Operations & Maintenance.
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification
- Operating system training certificate of completion or certification relevant to the primary operating system the position is supporting.
