Position Summary
We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial HVAC Technician to enhance our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across our range of commercial clients. This role requires expertise in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing these systems, as well as guiding and advising clients to select the most appropriate air quality systems based on their needs. Candidates must possess a clean driving record and the ability to pass a federal background check.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair operations for heating, ventilation, and cooling units across commercial properties.
  • Diagnose and address issues involving electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures.
  • Offer expert advice to clients on the selection of air quality systems that best suit their needs.
Candidate Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (a company vehicle will be provided).
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems according to HVAC protocols.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in diverse conditions, including exposure to extreme heat or cold.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with refrigerant, gas, and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and troubleshooting and installation of commercial air conditioning systems.
Working Conditions
This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, occasionally in extreme temperatures. It may also require substantial lifting and physical exertion.

Education and Certifications
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Universal EPA License.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; a certificate in HVAC or building maintenance technology is a plus.
