Purpose
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Lead Online Training Developers/Course Advocate to provide support services to all VBA personnel to include students, Regional Office Training Managers, Business Lines training staff, and the VA Central Office Staff Offices accessing VBA’s training systems.

*****THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWRD*****

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform full spectrum ISD responsibilities across all phases of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation, as required.
  • Advise, coordinate, and educate VBA training community personnel on VBA’s Training System Framework which is a comprehensive four-phased approach referred to as Plan, Create, Execute, Sustain (PCES) a model of excellence for training system management.
  • Design and develop training materials and products for small, quick turn efforts.
  • Deliver instructional workshops on ISD and HPI to improve knowledge and educate training community members.
  • Review pre-existing training materials to verify/validate instructional effectiveness and adherence to good instructional systems design principles and methodologies.
  • Recognize and identify common training needs at an enterprise level and assist in determining when a formal needs assessment is required.
  • Provide high level expertise and bring value with providing expertise, templates, job aids, (Standardization in Training) utilizing resources from the Training Center of Excellence.
  • Provide expertise and support in training strategy development and how to best execute and operationalize major training programs and initiatives.
  • Develop Training plans for program offices for enterprise-wide training deployments.
  • Support the HCS in the capture, storage, and prioritization of training needs and requirements.

Minimum Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:
  • Master’s Degree in related field and 2 years related experience or bachelor’s degree in related field and 5 years related experience
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Candidates must be able to work well with clients and team members of all levels not required
  • Coordinate with various internal and/or external leaders to develop creative solutions, while adhering to project deadlines and budgets
  • Enjoys and works well collaborating with other designers and developers to achieve solid and well thought out web-based experiences
